Nepos Villae

The Nepos Villae Winery grows in a territory steeped in history and humanity, marked by small stone villages and silent districts, ancient fountains and marble washbasins. Valpolicella recounts the silences and heartbeats of a humanity that has never been tamed.

Here stands the large Villa Quintarelli Ruffo, the home of Nepos Villae. A centuries-old journey from father to son, up to the last generation of Ruffo. A fascinating story that simply starts from a rural peasant house and is transformed into an eighteenth-century notary's villa. A timeless sacred asset that, since 1510, has marked the epic of two Veronese families until today.

Raised with the ancient Veronese double pergola system, the Ruffo family's vineyard is located just behind the villa, beyond the small garden. A composition of green that stretches suspended between the marogna of stone and the terrace. Corvina Gentile, Corvina Grossa and Rondinella are the grapes used.
