Birrificio Magis

The Birrificio Magis is the first and only craft brewery in Desenzano del Garda, in the province of Brescia, on Lake Garda. The idea for this project was born from the young Nicolò Maistrello, one of the youngest master brewers in Italy.

Birrificio Magis: a passion of Nicolò since childhood

At the age of 8, Nicolò started helping his father with his greatest hobby, which is brewing beer at home. Day after day, his passion for this magical world became increasingly overwhelming, to the point of deciding to turn it into much more than a hobby: he would make beer production his true profession.

Initially, he began his career as an homebrewer, experimenting with unique and strictly personalized recipes to ensure a taste full of flavors and aromas. Eager to do much more, he decided to pursue a course of study and training in the craft beer sector. Nicolò thus began to transform his passion into a real job, fulfilling his dream in 2018 with the birth of the Birrificio Magis after obtaining the international Master Brewer certification.
 

Birrificio Magis: unique ingredients, high quality, and awards won

The soul of the brewery is him, who, with his passion and experience, interprets each recipe to create unique and quality products. The various types of beer offered are characterized by a careful selection of raw materials that confer the uniqueness of taste and high quality. 

Nicolò has already started bringing home awards, winning several medals with the Smoky beer, his true flagship, demonstrating his young age and proving tenacity and a strong desire to constantly improve.
